CBUS Domestic and Residential Technical award winner

We are very proud to announce that we have been selected as the winner of the CBUS Domestic and Residential Technical award for 2016. Ipswich Plumbing Company Secure the CBUS Domestic and Residential Technical Award

Gravick Plumbing and Gas, an Ipswich based company have taken out the CBUS Domestic and Residential Technical award at the 2016 Plumbing and Gas Industry Awards, held last Friday night at the Royal International Convention Centre, Brisbane.

Gravick Plumbing and Gas incorporated new and innovative products and techniques in the plumbing and drainage system for a new, two storey, Class 1 dwelling and auxiliary unit in Springfield Lakes.

The project included plumbing fixtures and points on both levels and outside, including three showers, one bath, two fridge points, three toilets, multiple basins and sinks, and two continuous flow water heaters.

Hosted by the Master Plumbers’ Association of Queensland and with the Event Sponsor Tradelink, the Plumbing and Gas Industry Awards aim to highlight the hard work and dedication invested into the industry by apprentices, plumbers, gasfitters, hydraulic consultants and other industry individuals.

This year the awards recognised individuals and companies in 17 categories and hosted VIPs including the Minister of Housing and Public Works, the Hon. Mick de Brenni MP, Shadow Minister for Housing and Public Works, Stephen Bennett MP, the Shadow Minister for Energy, Biofuels and Water Supply, Michael Hart MP, State Secretary for Plumbers Union Qld, Gary O’Halloran and Commissioner of the Queensland Building and Construction Commission, Brett Bassett.

Friday 22 July saw over 500 representatives from the Plumbing and Gas Industry gather together from across Queensland to recognise the achievements of outstanding apprentices and honour those plumbers, gas fitters, hydraulic consultants and individuals within the industry who provide exceptional quality of work to their clients and our industry in general.
